If, for whatever reason, you need to report another user for misconduct on the Minecraft server OR the Discord server, please do so in this thread. To report users here, on the forums, please report the offending message via the "Report" button, located at the bottom of every user's post. Reports in this subforum are private, so only you and Cassiopeia staff can see them.

If you wish to report a staff member, please message me and I will handle your report personally.

How to file a User Report
To file a user report, please follow these steps.

1. Navigate to the Report a User subforum, then click on the "Post a Thread" button, located in the upper right hand corner, above where you found this announcement.
   
2. Begin your Thread Subject by selecting a report reason, or Prefix, from the dropdown box. Chose whichever most accurately describes the reason behind your report. If none of them describe your issue, then please select 'Other'.
   
3. Next, in the text field of your Thread Subject, include the reported user's username, where the offense took place (In Game Chat, In Game Signs, Discord, ect.) and a very brief description of the offense. For example, if BobJoe was being racist in the Minecraft chat, you would set the prefix to "Racism, homophobia and other hate speech", then enter your subject as "BobJoe used racist slurs in Minecraft Chat".
   
4. In the body of your thread, include all relevant information to your report. If possible, please include the time it took place (as well as your time zone), the date, screenshots, and where we can find the offending material. The more information you provide us with, the faster we can handle the offense.
   
5. When you are satisfied with the thoroughness of your report, and have included all relevant information, you can submit the report by pressing the "Post Thread" button at the bottom. If you would like to be alerted of replies to the thread- which is how we will contact you- then please select the appropriate option under "Thread Subscription".
   
6. One of the Cassiopeia staff will review your thread as soon as they possibly can. If they have any additional questions or need any additional information, they will do so within the thread.
   
7. The staff member handling your report will change your Thread Prefix to let you know the status of your report. "Handling" means they are acting upon your report, and "Resolved" means that they have completed your report. Here is an example of a handled and resolved report.
   

Please note that you will not be alerted of the punishment, or lack there of, that resulted from your report. If you feel your report was ignored, or that the staff member that handled you report was unable to do so fairly, please contact me so I can look into the matter personally.
